Inca Jungle to Machu Picchu 3d / 2n
INCA JUNGLE TREK 3 DAYS OVERVIEW
This is the most popular tour that we offer and there is good reason for it. When this tour was created, it was with the adventure seekers in mind. This tour is kind of like the Inka Trail ‘revamped’, but with the same pay off at the end: The glorious Lost City of the Inkas MACHUPICCHU.
This tour will no doubt provide you with memories that you will never forget.
We have also Inca Jungle Trek 4 Days

Itinerary
Day 1 Cusco – Santa Maria – Santa Teresa
Biking / RAFTING OPTIONAL
We will pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 a.m. for the bus ride of approximately 90 minutes through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, passing Chinchero, Urubamba, and Ollantaytambo, where we’ll take a 30-minute break, before heading to the Malaga Pass (4350 meters above sea level). From the pass, we’ll travel by bike as far as Wamanmarca (3 hours / 55KM DOWNHILL). where we catch again the car that will transport us for 30 more minutes to Santa Maria town(1200masl), where we will have lunch. In the afternoon at 15:00 pm you can go to do river rafting (not included/optional). 1h/30minutes of full adrenaline and fun into the Urubamba river of II and III-IV level. After river rafting you will catch the car again and it will transport to the Santa Teresa town( 1540masl) where you will spend the night.
(Lunch, dinner, hostel)
Day 2 Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes / Hiking (zip-line optional)
We will eat breakfast at 7:00 a.m. Before the hike, you will have the option of zip-lining (not included.). We’ll hike for about 3 hours on a dirt trail to a hydroelectric plant, where we’ll have lunch. After lunch, we’ll continue for another 3 hours along the railroad track, observing the flora and fauna of the area along the way. The ruins of Machu Picchu can be seen in the distance. We will arrive at Aguas Calientes at around 5:00 p.m., where we will spend the night in a hostel with private bathrooms and hot water.
Doing ZIP-LINE, only we will hike 3 hours to aguas calientes.
(Breakfast, lunch, dinner, hostel)
Day 3 Machu Picchu (2450 meters)
At 4:20 a.m., we will begin the 90-minute hike up to the citadel of Machu Picchu, where we’ll have the opportunity to see the sunrise over the ruins. We will have a two-hour guided tour of the ruins, followed by some free time to explore the site or climb Huayna Picchu mountain. Please note: For climbing Huayna Picchu there is a fee. After visiting Machu Picchu, we will catch the train back to Ollantaytambo, from where it is a 2-hour bus ride back to the city of Cusco.
WE OFFER YOU TWO OPTIONS TO GO BACK TO CUSCO AFTER VISITING MACHU PICCHU.
TRAIN OPTION:
You can visit Machu Picchu for a longer time and have enough time if you are planning to do HUAYNAPICCHU or MACHU PICCHU MOUNTAIN, which require a minimum of 3 hours approximately. After visiting the area of Machu Picchu for 7 to 8 hours, you have to return to the town of Aguas Calientes to take a train at 18:20 to Ollantambo for 1.5 hours then by car to Cusco for 2 hours more to arrive in Cusco around 10:30 pm
CAR OPTION:
You arrive at Machu Picchu around 6:00 am for the guided tour for 2 hours then you have free time to explore the site on your own. If you take this option, and you are thinking to do HUAYNAPICCHU, or MACHU PICCHU MOUNTAIN is possible but will be too very tight and rush because you need to leave Machu Picchu at 11:30 to walk back to Hydroelectric for 3 hours in order to be in Hidrolectrica at 3:00pm to take a car for 6 hours back Cusco. If you are considering doing this option and doing one of the mountains, we recommend you stay one more night in Aguas Calientes and return the 6th day to Cusco by car.

Whether you are short on time or just prefer to do a shorter part of the Inca trail this tour does not disappoint. Our guide Jhimmy was amazing. I have some knee issues and he was very patient and made several stops. He also was very knowlegeable. We passed several ruin sites along the way to Machu Picchu. Highly recommend! Posted on LexDVerified AMAZING, thanks Andy Andy was a super guide, really funny and patient, it was an amazing experience, i 100% recommanded !
